Many of the following performers just finished a week’s worth of promoting and performing at Austin’s biggest Music, Film and Interactive Conference, South By Southwest (SXSW). Catching any of these upcoming shows would be a serious treat to yourself.

Shotgun Rooster at Dan McGunness Pub in Moore Oklahoma. March 22, 2012. Straight up fun, Oklahoma country rock and roll. Bring your dancing shoes to this show. It may get loud. If you miss them there they will also be playing at the BARacuda in Norman on March 31.

Jabee and Friends at Twisted Root in the Paseo Arts District, Oklahoma City. March 23, 2012. Local rapper Jabee will be performing with other rappers such as LTZ and MilitantMindz. This hip-hop show is going to be scattered with unheard talent, so come discover something new. The venue is worth checking out as well, with repurposed art for sale and an earthy decor.

Josh Sallee’s Probable Flaws Release Party March 30, 2012 at Kamp’s Deli. If you live in Oklahoma there is no excuse to miss this show. You can say,”I saw him when…”. Josh Sallee has been rapping with Oklahoma City Thunder ballers Kevin Durant and his artist Priviledge. Skating Polly and Moon Sue at The Hidden Castle in Norman, Oklahoma. April 20, 2012. Skating Polly is a teenage girl riot punk duo from Oklahoma City. At eleven and sixteen years old, these girls aren’t into child’s play. They write their own music complete with deep lyrics and plenty of play songs. Guaranteed to rock your face off.
